Nicola started her television career as a researcher on the ITV1 show “The Time…The Place”. Later, she moved to the cable channel Live TV as a presenter and eventually became one of the faces of Manchester Live TV.

Her next move was to ITV Yorkshire as a general reporter and presenter where she was later promoted to the role of Entertainment Correspondent. The job gave Nicola access to some of the biggest names in the showbiz world and she has interviewed many major stars including Helen Mirren, the Duchess of York, Sir Ian McKellen and of course, Tom Hanks! It was for this role that she was awarded a national ITV news award for best "and finally" report and named "Presenter Of The Year" by the Royal Television Society in Yorkshire.

Alongside her TV work, Nicola runs a property company with her husband and her knowledge in that field enabled her to produce and present a programme for ITV Yorkshire about the housing market.

Nicola’s corporate experience includes public events, press launches and awards ceremonies. She has also done voiceovers for a range of programmes including “A Touch Of Frost” and the children’s show “Wilmot”
